Hunter Guide for noobs

To start off, we have the hunters attacks. Hold Left click to charge his bow, release to shoot. Press right click while moving to dash forward, press it while not moving to crouch. If you hold left click and then hold right click, you will slowly fall as you charge up the hunters bow.

The slowfall is widely considered to be Hunters best move. It is difficult for an enemy to hit, and is makes it easy to hit people. A fully charged attack will do 125 damage if you hit a headshot. If you hit their body, a fully charged attach will do 95 damage. The Hunter has 120 hit points, and is the weakest class. A fully charged shot is when you hold left click until the point of your arrow is glowing yellow. A non fully charged shot will do 45 - 75 damage (the more you charge it, the more damage it does) If you hit their head, you do a headshot, which is 125 damage. If you don't hit the head, it isn't a headshot. A good tactic is aiming at the head, because if your at a long distance, you will still hit them, and if you are close, it will be a headshot. Don't aim to high above the head, because you will miss.(The arrow curves downwards at a distance) Aiming at the head is a good idea, generally.

The dash move can be used to escape people at close range. You can jump and slowfall, so that you are above them, to try to hit them. This will be hard for them to hit you, so use it to your advantage. If you dash too much, you will run out of stamina, which isn't good. It drains a significant amount of stamina. Its useful in a pinch, but if you don't need to run away, don't use it.

His crouch is useful for hiding in bushes, but isn't commonly used at higher level play. It could be used well, but really is kind of useless.

You see a lot of low level players playing Hunter, as it requires very little skill to be okay with, but requires a lot of skill to be very good at.

As a Hunter player, you CAN NOT allow berserkers and warriors to get close. They will destroy you. If a warrior shield rushes you, shoot his shield to drain stamina. Once the warrior has no stamina, the warrior will not be able to block while he's recharging stamina. Use this to your advantage.

The hunter is played long range, but can still kill at ease at close range. Jumping is your friend. Jumping a lot ensures that your opponent can't see you well and can't hit you, but don't jump too much, as you will run out of stamina.
